Technology Overview
Gilroy's Golf operates an indoor putting analysis studio located in Egham, Surrey. At this facility we offer indoor putting coaching using the latest state-of-the-art systems which include our SAM Puttlab which is intergrated with our SAM Balancelab for the complete analysis of your putting.

Towards the end of 2009 we also launched our V1 On-Line Academy, this offered the latest in video analysis technology which is then viewable by our customers either at home on the PC or on their mobile phones whilst they practice! We are only one of a few centres offering this level of service to ensure you continue practicing the right things when away from the studio.

SAM Puttlab
SAM PuttLab is a putting analysis and training system based on accurate ultra-sound measurements. It analyses the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke (see below) and displays the results in easy to understand graphical reports to help us discover your individual strengths and weaknesses for a better and more efficient putting stroke.

SAM BalanceLab Force Plate
SAM BalanceLab takes analysing the swing or putting stroke to another level. Using special sensors placed inside the force plate, we are able to pinpoint the exact downward pressure exerted when setting up to that all important putt. This information will tell us exactly where in the feet pressure is located allowing us to adjust weight distribution at set-up and identify balance and movement through out the stroke.

V1 Pro Video Analysis
Whether you're a professional, an amateur working diligently on your game, or a weekend golfer, V1 Pro video analysis software helps you improve your game. Capturing your technique on video using V1 Pro allows us to play it back and highlight areas for improvement. Using our new V1 on-line academy, our certified V1 Golf Academy professional instructor will add commentary before adding to your locker for your on-line lesson analysis.
