SAM Puttlab Technology Overview
SAM PuttLab is a putting analysis and coaching system based on accurate ultra-sound measurements.
It analyses the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke (see below) and displays the results in easy to
understand graphical reports to help us discover your individual strengths and weaknesses for a better
and more efficient putting stroke.
Within seconds the system gives you individual feedback on your putting strokes. The analysis reveals
even the smallest detail of movement and allows us to develop putting improvement and training strategies.
SAM PuttLab utilises ultra-sound sensory analysis and therefore is far more exact than any other similar
system on the market.
Together with international PGA Tour Pros, the scientists of Science & Motion have developed the SAM PuttLab
for golfers of all handicaps - guaranteeing high efficiency and usability. To date already 26 European and American
Tour Professionals and several European national teams trust the capability of Science & Motion's PuttLab.
However, we beleive that it's not just the system that produces results but the person operating it. Our putting coach Jason has used the SAM Puttlab system virtually everyday since 2005, unlike many other users that may bring it out sporadically or do not have a dedictade indoor environment from which to operate it. Jason's in-depth knowledge of the system allowed him to advise the team from Science & Motion Golf (SAM) at a seminar held in Sweden back in 2007. From this, a number of changes were implimented to increase its usability in their 2008 software update package (which is still in use today).
Gilroy's Golf was among the first users to set-up a dedicated indoor putting studio using Science & Motion Golf Technology and is currently the only regsisterd user in England of their new SAM Balancelab Force Plate system. Jason has also spent time with a number of current users of the SAM Systems to help them better understand its application and data interpretation.
