SAM BalanceLab Force Plate Technology Overview
SAM BalanceLab takes analysing your putting stroke to another level. Using special sensors placed inside the force plate, we are able to pinpoint the exact downward pressure exerted when setting up to that all important putt.
This information will tell us exactly where in the feet pressure is located allowing us to adjust weight distribution at set-up and identify balance and movement through out the stroke. The software is able to then display & compare this information is clear and detailed graphical reports.
The balance during the stroke plays a vital role in determining path direction and impact spot, which if incorrect lead to certain compensations within the putting stroke. To get more balance in your putting, this system is an absolute must as no other video based system will identify your movements as accurately as the SAM BalanceLab.
Features to this system include:
Live analysis during set-up and stroke
Synchronised with high speed camera to view either ball roll or stroke
Synchronised with SAM Puttlab to match stroke dynamics with body movement
2D or 3D playback for better recognition of force pressure

Gilroy's Golf was among the first users to set-up a dedicated indoor putting studio using Science & Motion Golf Technology and is currently the only regsisterd user in England of their new SAM Balancelab Force Plate system. Jason has also spent time with a number of current users of the SAM Systems to help them better understand its application and data interpretation.
